I went to the Fight for $15 rally on April 14 not quite sure what to expect. I expected to see some of the same people from the MLK Day March and figured that was enough of a reason to stop by. When I got to the State house there were already a couple hundred people gathered around the steps and across the street in front of the Civil War memorial, many wearing union apparel. There were a few speakers including a co-worker of Jeffery Pendleton, the homeless New Hampshire fast-food worker who died in a cell when he was unable to pay his $100 bail.
