On Saturday, April 18 about one hundred people gather to protest police violence in Boston and nationwide. It was the first of the continuing protests I've attended this spring, the last event was the Reclaim MLK March on January 19.
The event started around 1:00 PM with speakers including Milania Batista and Carla Sheffield, both mothers who lost a son in a police shooting in Massachusetts.
After about half and hour of speakers, the march started. They marched up Warren Street and ended at Grove Hall. Along the way, the organizers handed out flyers to passing pedestrians and drivers.
